    Description

    Antique Hair Curling Iron with Green Painted Wooden Handle
    Button Pressed to open barrel is taped on. See pictures.
    There is a strong spring when Button pushed and held to
    open barrel for inserting hair to curl. Bottom of barrel has
    some rust and paint on handle has some wear.
    This is Unbranded, but has on barrel next to handle,
    PAT.APPLD FOR stamped in metal, hard to capture on
    camera but tried, see last picture.
    This was probably my grandmother's curling iron in the
    early 1900's.  I remember this item, maybe my mom used
    it to curl my hair!
