Rare & Unique Cue Rack.
Original / Antique A. (Adam) Braun Cue Rack - Buffalo NY
(very hard to find these - in any condition). Nice design & details. Unique - almost everything about this rack is quite different from most other cue racks. it holds 15 cues - most hold 12 - a few hold 14. 15 is a very unusual amount to hold, the top/ crown is different from any other cue rack I am aware of, so are the sides and bottom - the bottom is like a tray or trough w/ no holes for the cue butts (like most cue racks have).
It's original name is still intact - hand painted on, quite ornate and near perfect .
It has a nice spindled gallery on top. molded/ profiled sides and nice brackets. Original finish - unrestored condition. Made of solid black Walnut, measures: 35 1/4" w x 67 1/2"h (almost 6' tall), This is in very good condition and quite solid, but as most original antiques generally are found, it does have some condition issues. Namely: On the crown above the name - the half cutout on the RS is missing - but can be repaired, some finish wear, there are a few small chips & extra holes as seen in the pictures (these can be filled - I will include an excellent filler to do this - not hardware store putty), and a couple of splits in the bottom rail that need to be reglued.
Note: This is a (1) pc rack that will not come apart to ship - thus it will require a large box and shipping will be a bit pricey because of that fact - but I am offering FREE SHIPPING!

I can also offer you a very high end, newly made, perfect copy/ reproduction of this in every way if you are interested. Feel free to contact me if interested and you'd like a price (which would look exactly like it, but better &crisper - in perfect condition - custom finished to your specs (and it would cost less than a restored antique rack.). All items ship fully insured based on their sale price. I generally ship with the USPS - Priority or Parcel Post. Items that cannot ship by USPS generally ship UPS. Will usually ship within 1-3 business days of receiving cleared payment. (Depending on when the order is placed, how busy I am at the time and how much packaging is involved).
I go to great lengths to package my items very carefully to help insure against damage and have never had any damage with anything I've shipped.
